Setting up the Pingewood
Learn how to setup your Pingewood and get it ready for its first light.
Your fire will not require any assembly as we do not push our manufacturing to our customers.
Your Pingewood will arrive fully constructed on a pallet ready for you to unwrap.
Two or more people will be required to move the fire. It weighs over 90kg.
Best practice is to lean the fire onto its back and lift from either end.
Placement
The location should be well away from any overhanging trees and roofs as they could become a potential fire risk. You should also leave a minimum of 1 metres around the fire from any combustible materials.
